AddFlowers is an extension to make it easy to add freely licensed images of flowers (or anything else) from flickr. It is based on Extension:ImportFreeImages (view changes).

Changes from the original extension:

• Only allows images to be uploaded if they are tagged with certain flower types. These are defined at MediaWiki:Flowertypes. The list relates to flickr tags and could just as easily be any other topic rather than flowers.
• Images tagged with a random flower type are shown. This changes on reloading the page. This decreases the chance of someone seeing and uploading duplicate images.
• Non-logged in users can view Special:AddFlowers but can not upload them.
• If the image has already been uploaded, it will be displayed with instructions on how to add it to a page. The error message and option to upload anyway is removed.
• Fewer links to avoid confusion of what you need to click to add the image.
• The image itself is clickable and leads to instant upload if the user is logged in and if that image has not been uploaded previously.
• No option to rename the image, to avoid duplicate images.
• Larger thumbnails on the special page.
