Managing a wiki
The pages here on managing a wiki are a revised version of an early draft of a chapter I wrote for the book Wikis: Tools for Information Work and Collaboration (ISBN 1843341786).
The book was edited by Jane Klobas, and published by Chandos, Oxford, in June 2006. I wasn't paid to write this, and haven't even received a copy of the book. Judging from the content on the book's website, the corrections I made to the publisher's proofs were not incorporated in the printed version. I don't have permission to reproduce the final version here since it was edited and expanded by others, and I only have permission to republish my own text, so I'm aiming to go back to my first draft and make my own improvements from there rather than taking the final version and trying to remove text that wasn't mine. This will ensure I have full rights to release the modified version under a free license.
Feel free to edit and expand these pages. I wouldn't have put them on a wiki if I didn't want you to help!
